Volunteering at The Redwood
The Redwood has relied on the support of volunteers since its beginning, and it continues to welcome volunteers to share in our vision of supporting women and children to live free from abuse.

What we offer to our volunteers:
- Training needed to be a great volunteer

- The opportunity to respond to our call-to-action:

"I’ve always had a lot of respect for shelters and then I saw this opportunity at The Redwood. I thought, in whatever capacity that I could be useful and offer assistance, I would do.
I started volunteering with the tutoring program, helping some of the kids in the shelter.
I think that the work that The Redwood is doing is absolutely incredible. The need for shelter, safe spaces and communities for women and children fleeing abuse is extremely important, and the more people that can give in either a monetary or a personal time commitment in any way is advantageous to the community. I’m very, very happy to be able to be a part of that.”Krishna, Child & Youth Volunteer
