Pre-authorized Debit (PAD) Agreement for Monthly Donations

Please review the terms below and sign and date the agreement to confirm your authorization.

  • I acknowledge that my donation will be processed on the date authorized above every month, or on the next business day if the specified date falls on a weekend or holiday.
  • I understand that I reserve the right to make changes to this agreement, including the donation amount, processing date, bank details as well as cancelling my authorization.
  • I agree to provide The Redwood with at least 7 days’ notice prior to my next scheduled debit to process any changes inclusive of cancellation, by contacting The Redwood at 416 533 9372 ext. 249 or donations@theredwood.com.
  • I understand that to obtain a sample cancellation form or for more information on my right to cancel a PAD agreement I may contact my financial institution or visit www.payments.ca.
  • I understand that I have certain recourse rights if any debit does not comply with this agreement. For example, I have the right to receive reimbursement for any debit that is not authorized or is not consistent with this PAD agreement. To obtain more information on my recourse rights, I may contact my financial institution or visit www.payments.ca.
  • I acknowledge that by signing this agreement I waive the right to receive pre-notification of the amount to be debited each month.
