The Redwood Hub-on-Wheels
The Redwood Hub-on-Wheels, housed in a custom-outfitted RV, brings anti-gender-based violence counselling and prevention, basic health care and other complementary services to survivors in neighbourhoods throughout Toronto and the GTA.
What services does the Hub-on-Wheels provide?
- Crisis intervention, including making a personalized plan to leave or cope with a relationship more safely
- Referrals to access emergency shelters, legal supports, rent-geared-to-income housing, and harm reduction services
- Consultations for basic primary health care
- Sexual wellness and health education
- Trauma-informed counselling support
- Workshops on various health and wellness topics
- Depending on availability:
- Access to items to support with essential needs, such as menstrual and sexual health products, harm reduction supplies and toiletry items
Who does the Hub-on-Wheels serve?
The Hub-on-Wheels works with organizations who work in the community. We provide assistance to all women, trans, and non-binary individuals in the community. We serve a wide range of ages, from youth to seniors.


The Hub-on-Wheels will visit neighbourhood and community organizations, providing their participants with access to our services.

The Hub-on-Wheels team visited Tinu Ark of Mercy in Brampton and provided anti-gender-based violence counselling and basic healthcare services to over 50 clients.

Survivors can meet privately with the Hub-on-Wheels nurse to receive basic primary health care.

The wellness counsellor can offer trauma-informed counselling, risk assessment and safety planning for those who are living with abuse.
